At last I know who to blame!

Everything is clearer now. The other day I was on the Sainsbury’s site and there, so I thought, was my boy Tony advertising pet insurance.  Some time ago, it must be said.  Before he reached his current petite but splendid maturity.  Then I looked again and I realised: that’s not Tony! That’s his Mum, Crunchie!

You’ve seen Crunchie before on this blog, sitting in Margaret’s suitcase. We thought she was just joking, taunting us.  Why on earth would she have any real plans to depart her luxurious Greenwich home?

But now I’m really getting worried.  Crunchie started the whole thing off. She taught her sons, my Terry and Tony, how to sneak out and earn cash for their running away fund.

Perhaps they plan to run away together, the generations reunited!

Can’t go anywhere!

Wherever I go I find my cats have already been there.

On holiday in Ohrid, Republic of Macedonia I find that Tony has been out here already, posing for the dry cat food they sell in the KAM discount supermarket.

Tony’s early work

Taken by surprise today (1/08/15) to find  pic of Tony confronting me in the cat food aisle of my local Tesco.

If he’s had this much work he should be able to pay for his food himself!

Terry poses for Sainsbury’s

Terry and Tony’s running away fund was further enhanced by the big photo shoot Terry did for Sainsbury’s a while back.  Exhausted from his labours, he was not aware of my sneakily taking a photo of the evidence.

Tony’s work for Money Supermarket

Now, as you’ve seen, Terry gets most of the fee-paying work, but as you’ll also have seen from the Cravendale advert, Tony’s the more intelligent actor, and can do the big parts. Actually it’s my theory that Tony handles the business because he’s he one with the smarts. And takes commission from his bro for all the work he gets them. Whatever, I never see a penny of their earnings!

Actors now!

Not content with appearing in stills, they’ve both taken part in this Cravendale ad:

I play host to two beautiful cats, Terry and Tony.

Tony is elegant, and knows it.  Look at him posing in my desk chair, knowing how elegant he is.

His brother, Terry, on the other hand, is a little less elegant.  A lovable and loving lump of purring fur.  And very tolerant:

They are brothers and they seem to like each other.

But it turns out that all this time that I have been working my fingers to the bone to feed the little monsters, they have been sneaking off to pose for advertising campaigns.  Big brand stuff too.

I’ve not seen a penny of their earnings.  All I can assume is that they’ve got it stashed in a running-away fund somewhere.
